NetSetMan is a great network application for Windows users. I usually need to take my computer with me to work at places other than home. I have my home network configured to work a specific way. Now, when I leave home, I usually need to change my network settings so that my computer can get Internet access at other locations. I have a good memory and I remember the settings that I have at home, but I still need to change them every time I come back. NetSetMan can remember up 6 different network configurations so that you can switch among them easily and quickly. Now, NetSetMan takes things seriously. It allows you to change every single aspect of your network configuration, from computer name and IP to DNS and WINS server. You can even add a printer here, and it will be mounted for you. An application like this is really mandatory for anyone who has to use several networks and does not want to write the details for every one of them down and change them back and forth. The latest version of NetSetMan is 2.5.1. However, this review deals with version 2.5. This application is free for non-commercial purposes. If you do need to use it at work, you might want to check the Pro version.
